I'm no amazing photographer, nor is my phone exceptional camera equipment but this is my favourite of the year. Almost hard to believe I found a hill this tall in Saskatchewan! I do love these times when you feel like the land could just swallow you whole, beautiful time spent grouse hunting this year. And yeah I'll admit, I love getting the gun in there when I can!

neat antler arrangement with the dropping point. My mother in law in Halifax has a deer that has been hanging around for years now with a similar trait. she sends me pics of him every year.

The side by side....well had already used the spare that afternoon and the 2nd tire went around 25km in the back country of Haida Gwaii. Remote. Big Bears seen through the day. No chance we were walking 6 hours to the truck in the dark. Drove all the way back on the deflated tire, then the melted tire, then no tire. We did get a buck the next morning.
