As the title, says, where is the best place in Canada to order by the case? I'm particularily looking for a source that offers something besides the usual 00 fodder.

small cast iron pot-20 bucks
hotplate-15 bucks
old ladle-free
buckshot mold in the size you want - 20 bucks
spray on mold lube - 6 bucks
Casting thermometer - 12 bucks

total so far- less than a hundred with shipping.

50 lbs of clean scrap lead from the scrap yard in the phone book -80 bucks give or take, depending on the current price.

Total....Still under $200.

* but wait, there's more!

With every purchase of a basic casting kit you get to run an extension cord out behind the shed, and spend a few hours doing something soothing and repetitive, while kids/wife stay away because...it's dangerous honey, you should stay inside, kids too.

*** P.S. as long as you're outdoors, you're fine. Old guys cast for years in poorly ventilated basements, and get away with it, though I wouldn't recommend it. You just ask your family doctor to test you for lead a coupole weeks after you start, then every year after that. It's free in Canada.

Hmmm, sounds interesting, I should have specified loaded rounds instead of buckshot itself though. I think casting is out for me as I'm deathly afraid of ingesting heavy metal fumes seeing as I've been dealing with severe metal poisoning for over a decade.
