It was scary and informative to read the thread ' the worst rifle you have ever owned'! So to risk a litany of die-hards I need to ask: What is the BEST rifle you have ever owned? looking at things such as: reliability, accuracy, durability, and even looks and value for the cost!
Let it begin!
(If you picked other in the poll, please note in a post which other you prefer)

Savage 11FCXP in .243 Win

Reliable, cheap and VERY accurate right out of the box (1/2 MOA). I liked my savage so much I just traded my Rem 700 for another Savage in 308 Win.

My Marlin 336SS. Looks great, shoots even better. If only I had both qualities, I would be a perfectly happy man :D

I voted other because i have a lot of rifles that work well with no issues, i enjoy all these rifles so i don't neccesarily have a best rifle. The worst rifles get mentioned because they don't work though.

Tikka T3 stainless lite in 308. Reasonably priced, light, accurate, great trigger, needs no tinkering or upgrades. Just scope and hunt.

I said Husqvarna, and other...My 1940's M38 Swedish Mauser.

It was made by Elves in a Swedish forest and shoots better then I do. :D

1950 marlin 336RC. cost me $300 and after a little custom work is my most accurate, reliable, lightweight, cheap to shoot, and prettiest gun i own.

6.5x55 husky, bubba'd ...topped with a 4x leopold ,had it for 30 years, just restocked it with a Choate stock and it never let me down

You spelled Husqvarna wrong. But it still gets my vote. Brno too, but I didn't have that option.

30-30 Marlin 336C that I got for my 14th birthday is the one I would keep if I could only have one. Passable for accuracy... so nice to handle and carry. It has shot everthing from spruce grouse to moose.

M70

A custom Win. M70 in 7mm RM with a Smith barrel and a Mcmillan stock and lots of fine tuning by Bill Leeper. The most accurate rifle I have ever shot, sub .5'' groups at 100 yards.

As a factory rifle it would be my Sako 75 hunter in 270, deadly accurate also .6'' t 100 yards.

"Best rifle I've ever owned". I hate even thinking of these single choices but in an effort to do so, I'd have to say it's my M-68DL Schultz & Larsen in 308 Norma Magnum.

With stock design, it 'feels good', has the power to handle just about anything I'll ever come up against and it shoots well.
