I know you've been asked this a million and one times, but where have you guys found sks's the cheapest in canada that are in stock right now. So Far the cheapest i've found is from lever arms and it is 350 bucks for the rifle and a case of ammo. But it is 65 bucks for shipping on top of that. You guys find any other places cheaper?

$350 for the rifle and the ammo, thats a good deal I would think, if its a Russian in nice shape. A case of ammo goes for around $180- $200, so that would make your rifle about $150 which is very inexpensive for a Russian SKS.

Is it a Norinco SKS???

If you let people know where you live, you may get some help locating some ammo nearby and save on shipping cost.

What would the tax be like? Ya I live in the medicine hat area, nothing out here except the outdoorsman which is primarily a hunting store, probably the most tacticool thing they have there is a black m14...

You will need ammo for your SKS anyway so the Lever Arms deal would be the best. The cost of shipping is much cheaper than shipping both individually. I got mine a week before they had that offer up and I wish I had waited longer before I order. I don't think you should. BTW I am not affiliated with the vendor

Ok I'll go with lever arms then, well I guess I have to wait because my dad said he is going to sell some bins first (there already halfway sold) and then buy it.
