The bimetal copper/steel .308 ammo

I just received a shipment of .308 ammo and was surprised to see it wasn't brass cased like the earlier stuff. Should have read the description I guess :HR:

Anyways I was wondering what your guys experience with this stuff is? It seems really rough and I am afraid of wearing out the action on my new rifle with it.

not rough at all. You will not experience any increased wear. Only the copper touches the gun, and even if it did not it is soft steel underneath. So soft in fact, that it is drawn on similar tooling to brass.

we only sold a small qty of brass cases, all the rest has been steel.

Check the M14 forum, the recent clinic shoot saw thousands of rds fire with excellent results.
