The BOSS missed it's calling in life

Whew. I thought this was going to be a wife thread....

Brakes are ugly at their best, the BOSS is close to the worst.

Never have used a muzzle brake, so I can't criticize.

Have one on a bolt 243 wssm,absolutely crazy loud as muzzle break,but conventional BOSS works great,as was meant to..

The Muzzle Brake missed its calling in life................As a paperweight.

Fixed it.

The first time I laid eyes on that "Boss" hung on the muzzle of a Browning A-Bolt, my thought was: "Shades of the old Poly-Choke" an abortion hung on shotgun muzzles that allowed adjustable choke settings. It also worked, but was about as ugly as a hairless cat. I personally hate anything on the muzzle of my rifles, so no surprise that I had an instant repulsion for the Boss. Regards, Eagleye.
