Good lord.

I mean... I can understand wanting to make cool custom stuff for guns - considering every single gun I have is completely different from factory condition (even designing and making custom parts from a machine shop) - but that thing is just a soup sandwich.

Grab a Badger Ordinance stabilizer handguard + bipod, a good muzzle brake, and you'll be able to accomplish with a 12 pound rifle what he was trying to do with an almost 30 pound rifle. Poor LMT :(

Those guys are hilarious. The great thing is when they make a sarcastic comment for the sake of humor a bunch of flamer fan boys don't jump down their throat and get all hurt feelings. Flamers take note.

You people are killjoys, I like the gloves, since I usually wear them at the range as well, and the mod, love it, afterall if he isnt playing at Rambo and just shooting from a bench the weight is great. Too bad its aluminum :rolleyes:
 
There is so much stupid in that thread that it's almost impossible to pass judgement on the various participants. The OP's device seems fairly pointless to me although I don't shoot BR at all so I am not in a good position to comment on the value of what he's attempting.

The various commentators really remind me of why that site gets ripped on by the heavyweight forums so much. I never read arfcom threads so I periodically forget how stupid that place is.
