The clouds parted and the sun shined through

I had a similar story this summer. A friend called me and said they were downsizing and asked if I wanted any guns before they went online for sale. I didn't really NEED anything new, but stopped him when he mentioned the SKS. He bought it 10 years ago and had put 80 rounds of non-corrosive through it the entire time he owned it. I asked what he wanted for it and he said "I don't know, $175?"
I told him that's too low that they are selling pretty consistently for between four and six-hundred bucks lately. He pondered and said, "Well, if that's the case, would you do $225?"

Haha gotta love those deals..

I should mention it came with about 60 stripper clips and a spam can of corrosive. thing was still soaked in cosmoline internally I dropped the trigger and mag had to pull them out it was so thick lol
 
I got a mint Russian capture k98 with 100 surplus bullets for 450$ this summer, I couldn’t believe it.
It has a 2 marked on the barrel. The fella said it was a replaced barrel and boy is it super clean and good shooting!
