The Cz-82 Pistol

Nice video. I appreciate the fact that you did some research. Also, you do a good job of delivering details and specs... better than others with their "table top" reviews...

Barrel length is 3.8" (97mm) which means prohibited in Canada.

Since you're in the US you may not realize what this means to us.

It means that sub 105mm length barrel guns that were in country at the time of the passing of the law are classified as Prohibited and can only be owned by those who were grandfathered at the time to be able to own or deal in prohibited classification guns.

It also means that no additional prohib category guns can be brought into the country.

A very nicely done video though. You keep things snappy yet down to just the right amount of detail.

I learn more and more about Canadian gun laws all the time. It seems many are just as absurd as our US gun laws.

I'm sorry you guys can't own a Cz-82 but I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

For the price that looks like one fun little pistol to fire.

Awesome video channel Mac, been subscribed for a little while now and love the insight on many of the firearms you do videos on.

There was a 380 acp version made for export. A great video on an under rated pistol, probably the best pistol to come from the Soviet Bloc. They were sold in Canada - not sure how many sold, but they were available in the 1980's and all of them were 380's (9mm Mak ammo was not availble). I believe they sold for about $600.

Most of us can't... But there are a select few here who can.

But as time goes on and the bell tolls, their "prohibited buying status" goes with them.

Sad in all respects... :(
