Has anyone tried one of these yet, or bought one. I really want to buy one but its a lot of money for a barrel and receiver. I don't mind spending that kind of money on good quality Canadian made products if its worth it though. So I'm just wondering how it is compared to a regular DAR22 and if its worth the extra money. Any input would be great.

I don't have the threaded receiver... I have half a dozen of the regular DAR receivers though... the quality is top-notch. If Joe brings it out to market, it will be well tested and proven... and he backs all of his products with excellent service and warranty.

I see this thread has been here a while so maybe there's a few more people that have some experience with this rifle now. I just came across these and they seem pretty interesting. Are they anymore accurate than a barrel with a V-block? That's a lot of money for a barreled action, are they worth it? What are your thoughts?

They are very appealing BUT - if you're going to use one, you'll need either a stock that is inletted to fit the receiver (it isn't a drop in due to the presence of the barrel nut) or the MDT chassis, which is set up to receive it and also the rear lug. Dlask has a test mule and they say it's about as accurate as you can get. Given that you can build an extremely accurate 10/22 with the floppy barrel block set up, I have no reason to believe that a screwed on barrel wouldn't be much more capable of accuracy. After all, no one builds a long range rifle, or even a short range competition rifle, using the floppy barrel block, and they can generally do quite well accuracy wise.
