The definitive SKS bullpup stock page. Legal when stock is removed and cannot fire

Unfortunately the RCMP have the power of "The law is what I say it is" so your submission would be up to their interpretation of the law. It sounds like possible gray area but could work out if they go for it. They have surprised us with such things as mag limits that they could have easily shot down and made using pistol mags in rifles a Federal offence. Submit it to the powers that be and see what they say. Does anyone have the skinny on Dlask's bullpup M14? They could make a reciever that only accepts M14 internals but is compeletly different externally and thus not an M14 variant.

My question is: If you remove the trigger on the trigger group of the SKS and put another trigger group on the stock. Then make the stock so that it does not fit on an unaltered rifle (the stock will not snap on an SKS with a stock trigger group oin the rear), fulfilling the "cannot fit another rifle" and the "does not fire without stock". Doesn't that make this potential stock legal?

I submit that it does. :D

I submit that it's not Friday yet. ;)
