I love a mag fed 12g but man a double stack mag would weigh a ton...

I know what you mean. It's kind of an off brand discount maker...albeit US made.

Still, would love to shuck 20 rounds through one of those big mags and see how well it cycles. If it actually works it's interesting.

I'll side-mention that Winchester will be offering a full length brass cartridge 00 round as part of their new retro style WW2 Victory Series ammo line.

While it's mostly just a novelty at this point, this could rekindle mainstream interest in full brass hulled shotshells, which are great in a box magazine standpoint since you don't have to worry about deformation if left loaded for long periods.
