Hi Gun nut's !

I read somewhare that all the Russian surplus firearm we can buy here in Canada come from the Ukraine and once this source will be empty, this will be the end of the old Russian surplus.
According to this reading, the Russian surplus firearm in Russia itself is already been destroyed ? Apperently Russia has come to term with the united nation on a deal to destroyed firearm and others country may fallow soon.

Wath do you guy's think about all this ???
(sorry for my bad english)

I have heard this many times as well. However, As with all Surplus firearms, they all come to an end. Whether or not Russia has any more rifles to dump on the market, I'm pretty sure that you will never see $100 Mosin rifles again, nor the availability and price of the ammunition.

This is not a new cycle of the surplus market, it has been like this since WW2 and has repeated itself many times with many different rifles, from many different countries. Twenty years from now , how many rifles do you wish you had purchased for 100 bucks?

No matter the source all Mosin-Nagant & Russian SKS rifles coming here are from the Ukraine, it is illegal for military weapons to be sold out of Russia (This has been confirmed to me by many sources, both in Canada and the USA).

They are still cheaper in the US and they can't even import them anymore so I am not all that worried. Although I do plan to buy a few this summer

Sorry that is untrue, they were cheaper but the current price is hard to beat.

I'd say the one that is the best value by far right now is the SVT-40, the sell for close to 1000 dollars down south.
