Very limited release so far, but at least they are starting to get out there. Is anyone going to try and bring these in once they hit full production?

I have a feeling that the SCAR will go the way of the FS2000, but you never know. You can label the SCAR acroym as the Special Charity Anti-combat Rifle for export, and see if that works :).

As for Export out of the US you can only dream as for going the way of the FS2000 NO

Since these are made in Europe there shouldn't be any US export issues???

or are these US made?

Parts are made in belgium, rifle is assembled in US I believe.

$6125 USD, no thanks.
These are a special edition release, only 1000 are being made for the initial turn out. I think MSRP is around 2500 USD. That and with the looming Assault Weapon Ban 2, it's no wonder the price for these are soaring.

we can get the FS2000 here in NZ on a regular license, which means you can hunt with it.. and suppress it .. but god is it ugly as sin .. we wont get the SCAR which is what we really want

If you can get the FS2000 it means someone in Canada has dropped the ball. Would mean FN's European division is making them and FN sports isn't importing them.

Do you have any names of dealers that stock the FS2000? If FN Sports won't bring them in, than we'll have to do it ourselves. Or at least pass the info on to someone who will *Canam* *cough* ;)
