SIR has always had high prices and Cabela's is just carrying on the tradtion...

Customs Fees??? you mean GST and PST?...Samo samo rather you buy from Midsouth or Cabela's..In some prov. you don't have to pay GST on out of prov. orders so you save a bit there but do the math eh?....:)

May require an Export Lic. for International orders???
Well I bought some reloading items from Misdsouth in the last few months that said the same thing...
The key word there is may...I didn't have to get a export lic.:)

Reloading equipment is regulated in the sense that you require a permit to send it to a select few nations. Think North Korea, Iraq, Libya and maybe 2 others. So long as you don't order from one of those nations, you are fine.

But that kit does not include the Charge Master 1500 Dispenser . This must be a new kit, i don't remember ever seeing the supreme kit with the Charge Master.

The kit that comes with the Chargemaster Combo is a kit created by Cabelas and is available in the US (Cabelas Canada doesn't offer this kit). You're right, usually it's just the rockchucker supreme kit with the manual scale and the other goodies. Cabelas just supersized the kit to include the chargemaster.

Locally, I can find the Rockchucker Supreme kit for close to $500. This is another sham, as in the states they're only paying $300. I don't mind paying a little more, I understand our smaller market, import fees etc, but this stuff is almost costing double. It's insane :(.

I take it there are no (or usually no) restrictions on ordering reloading equipment from the states? Unfortunately Cabelas USA applies their own rules and won't ship their reloading stuff up here.

It's funny. When you click on checkout, there's a message saying that the reloading kit is subject to an additional $8 fee for shipments to USA and Canada, but then when you get to the 'shipping' part of your order, you are informed that the item will not ship to Canada.

There are other U.S. vendors besides MidSouth that ship reloading equipment to Canada....Two off the top of my head are "Natchez" and "Lock, Stock, and Barrel"... Others that may ship here are "Graf&Sons", "Cheaper Than Dirt", and "Buds Gun Shop" but I have not done business with them...

I usually buy from Canadian dealers both local and mail order if they have what I am looking for and they aren't way out of line on their price.. SIR/Cabela's how ever is down on the bottom of the list because of their pricing on the items I seem to be interested in...
