The gun you never bought

I had a chance to buy a really nice S&W 500 used at a gunshow for a good price and I himed and Hawed for a little bit and some one else was smarter then me and bought it right away. I have always regretted missing that one. Maybe if I am lucky I will find another at as good a price.

There was a lightly used P-07 duty at reliable on consignment for $400 a couple months ago. I didn't buy it. I should have. Now I see them for $525-550 for the same gun.

6" S.S. Colt Python for $750 last year. Still kicking myself for not borrowing the cash. Luckily when I bumbled across a 6" Dan Wesson (Monson) with a 4 digit serial# and target grips for $450 I jumped all over it. Needless to say that the much-needed brake-job on the car was going to wait! I swear, flames sparked off my VISA I bought it so fast!!

A mint Sig 210 for $1600. But I think ill buy the new legend this next year. That will be my only handgun purchase of next year. 2012 will be the year of non registered rifles!!!!w:h:

Beretta 92FS, wanted one since I was 15, and still do. But for some reason I never get around to buying one. Even when I have the cash I never make the call. Now Im broke and wish I had bought it.

Two, actually. Wanted a full auto in the late 70's but they were WAY out of my price range. By the time I could afford it they were banned. Second was a Desert Eagle in 44 mag. I was all ready to buy one but wanted to handle one first. Finally got a chance when I was at the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot. It was like picking up a boat anchor. I have fairly big hands & could hardly get my mitts around it.
