The guns that I sold on CGN over the years.

Jesus....it looks to me like you should change the name of this thread to "All the guns I should have kept"

Ha, if these are the ones drm3m sold, I can only imagine the keepers.

All of them are gorgeous... though that WWI Artillery Luger really stands out to me. The snail drum magazine is unusual enough, but then Google Images showed me just how alien it looks with that shoulder stock (seems cropped out of drm3m's image).

I sold all of my 12.3s and most of my 12.6 pistols. I am keeping a 1937 dated Luger rig (with two matching magazines) and a 1942 manufactured M1911A1 Colt rig. (Both vet bring backs with provenance)

My two keepers.

My current collecting focus is on U.S. Civil War stuff---guns--swords---bayonets---ammunition.

I bought a well marked sling for the MG42 in Norway in May 2005.
$220 USD. (Approx. $305 Cdn back then.)

Sling is marked gyb 1943 ,WaA892 on hasp, Eagle WaA668 on leather.

Trust me----I did not sell in a moment of weakness----I knew exactly what I was doing.

It was time to move on with my collecting interests.

That is one thing many seem to not understand who are collecting currently. It isn't about hoarding or having as much as possible, its about having what interests you and working to achieve your personal goals. I have changed collecting interests a few times over the years and sold or changed the collection as my interests waxed and waned. To me a significant part of collecting is sending the piece off to someone who will enjoy it more, hopefully gaining something you will enjoy more in the process.

I got tired of having to get my 12.3s re-verified in order to sell them.
Marstar did work on my MP40-MP44-PPSh-41 and my Lanchester was stuck in Ottawa for an eternity.
They had all been registered as 12.3s -----the MP40 and Lanchester had been through Forensic Sciences in Toronto in December 1992.

----------------------------------------------------------------

I had listed two of my 12.6s on CGN ---no action at all.
I decided to get them deactivated by Gunco (something I never thought I would do) and shipped them to Collector's Guild in NB.
The Femaru sold quite quickly and the HSc is still for sale.

spacebar test

My Civil War stuff is not locked away in my safe and I doubt that the government will bother me for owning this stuff.

OR THIS STUFF.
