I would think good condition leather from the 1860's would be more rare than a Colt Army revolver. I'm just guessing though. - dan

This is my Remington 1875 in chambered in 44 Remington with the holster it came with. Pretty confident that this is holster is as old as the revolver. This what I expect leather to look like that is around 140 years old.

I bought a second Model '51 Colt Navy on Oct 16 2015---$1,400 plus $225 repairs at Gunco in Napean.

My Father bought this Blackpowder in the 1960s when we shot our Remington and Starr SA and our Manton rifle.
I decided that I was a collector not a shooter and I sold the gun powder in July 2021.
He may have rolled over in his grave when I did it
