The Holy Grail of Colt

Ooooo aaahhhh. But does it shoot 2 times better than an LMT, which coincidentally is less that half the price? Or is that model strictly a collectors item, destined to sit in the safe and be pulled out once in a while for ogling? ;)

You would have to ask a Koolaid guy that question... They are just rare. I know in Canada there is something like 25 in the country.

Yeah...they're sweet, and I would love to have one if someone gave one to me, but I don't think theyre worth the extra cost. You could kit a bushmaster into much nicer gun with the same amount of money, in my opinion.

CRAFM just annonced that they have some for sale, 3100$ or so plus shipping and tx...
At that price, I rather keep my STAG and buy 1500$ worth of ammo
But if I was rich, I'll get one ! :D

I have a real 921 upper on my 920 lower and I can advise that while it is super nice to own, it shoots no better than any one of my other ARs...with the 6921 you are simply paying for the markings on the lower receiver as it is the same gun as the 6920 with exception of the mentioned markings and the 16.1" barrel on the 6920.

Woop dee doo...it's an ar15 from Colt. I have a Colt sporter and I shoot my Olympic Arms M4gery more. It shoot's the same, feels the same and I didn't have to replace the hammer with less then 500 rounds through it like I did my Colt.
Colt is like the "big three".
It's riding on it's name..and it's going to bite them in the ass someday.

WOAH Dude! Tell us how you really feel.:D While the guns feel and shoot the same I don't think you can discount millions of dollars of destructive testing and dimensional checking on every part, I have an Oly too and it is fun to shoot but not something I would trust my life too should WWZ ever take place.

Not quite, CRAFM is selling the LE6920 which is the 16.1" M4 style barrel. The LE6920's sell on gunbroker for 1450.00 USD:eek:... I suppose if one really wants this rifle they could have Questar import it for 1450+200 bucks...

There have been difficulties getting export permits for the NFA guns in the past. I don't think Questar can get a 921 due to the 14.5 barrel. The 920's got through because of the non NFA 16.1" barrel.

I'd like one. A few months back I saw a Colt 921 upper in the EE for around $900. Still kicking myself in the ass for not jumping on it. The LE6921's are actually less popular in the States compared to the 16.1" LE6920 as they require an additional $200 tax stamp since they're registered as an SBR. That said I've got a new 6920 on the way, my first Colt, can't wait!
