WW1 weekend at the Brome County Historical Society in Knowlton, Quebec. The Kaiser is scrapping the bottom of the barrel for troops.

Great little museum they got there ! They have a nice collection of WW1 arms and some kit , OH ! Did I mention that they also have a German biplane. A real jewel in the hart of the townships . If your in to radio( short wave) the old stuff plent of that too .

The British ran a pretty effective naval blockade during WW1 which really reduced food imports, so those Jerries look to be guarding a ration depot.
