Here is the newest member of the collection (and my first shotgun). Stevens 350 pump security. I know alot of people weren't sure about these because of the old norc's that apparently weren't so good. However I took it out to gravel pit for a test drive and it performed solidly.

It's got some good weight to it, all steel and no junk plastic parts, the action is very smoothe. The one negative I found was that the spring in the mag tube seems pretty weak and will probably need to be replaced, which I hear is a common problem on these. I put some 00 Buck through her with no issues, and plenty of fun. So far, for $350 I feel I did pretty well. I wish I had purchased a shotgun earlier, I had a blast (no pun intended) on the range.

Here it is with some gear.

Looks like a solid gun for the money, how smooth is the action and hows it shoot?

Anyway I don't know what the deal is with these Chinese clones but the original Ithaca 37 design that these guns on based on don't require a lot of mag spring pressure as designed.

Not having to fight a strong spring when loading the magazine is a big plus in my book, though folks used to other shotgun might think they're too light to function.

If you are having some kind of spring function issue I'd replace the spring with an Ithaca 37 spring instead of using a universal spring or one meant for another shotgun.
