I couldn't resist this rifle for $200 NIB when I saw it so I just finished putting it all together last night-Marlin .17M2-Bushnell Trophy 3x9x40 scope/Burris Hi rings and a Caldwell Bipod. 2 weeks till easter....opening season!!

She's a beauty!!! One little problem though, when you bought the gun, they forgot to give you the bolt!!!

Go smack some gophers now!!!

I have a Mossberg 144LSB .22 and use a 6x24x42mm scope. I found that the high rings produce less strain on the neck when shooting prone. I do a lot of that type of shooting during the summer.

I set most of the M2's up for prone shooting as they do very well at ranges up to 120 metres so that's why I prefer the high rings with the bipod.

here is my other "tool" NEF sportster heavy barrel .17M2 with a Bushnell 4x12x40 Dusk/Dawn and Weaver rings/Harris bipod
