With the amount of us who recently bought receivers, completely oblivious to the workings of the M1 Garand, I figured we should be contained to one thread outside of a sponsors forum. This way we can (hopefully) post links (no hotlinking) to places to buy our parts. Ask your questions, give eachother a hand, share the wealth of knowledge, post up your build pics.

As of right now, the best places to get Garand parts are:

MRKB said:They will ship everything from a garand except barrels and "complete" bolts and have a $500 limit. They do offer the whole bolt for and extra $33. I was thinking about asking for the internal parts being purchased separately from the bolt. You have to place your order by phone. Online ordering doesn't work for Canada and don't waist your time emailing the international department. They will just tell you to phone in an order.
If ordering from the States, keep in mind the export restrictions:
The United States Government has export restrictions in place for items such as barrels, barrel blanks, bolt assemblies, cylinders,
receivers, frames, bolts, high capacity magazines, shotgun magazines, shotgun magazine extension tubes, shotgun complete trigger mechanisms, etc.
