Wouldn't make a whole lotta sense to put it in the RSM when the Rigby will fit.

That's the thing, a light weight short action 375 may be ok for most shooters, but for any caliber bigger than that it may be too much of a good thing in not enough rifle.

One of the things that have kept me from bigger calibers than 375 is just that- The only time I would really want something bigger than a 375 in North america is if a grizzly was trying to eat me, and that doesn't happen very often.

A 375 does just about anythign that needs to be done here in Canada with less cost, recoil, etc.., and when I get around to Africa, it should work fine on buffalo, and I have no desire to shoot an elephant.

If Hornady does bring out a 416 I hope it will prompt them to come out with a 350g or 300g spire point for north American game.
