If I can buy a Long Branch bolt and a 1 1/2 years later buy the rifle that matches without realizing it until about a week later , matching stuff up is possible. More parts numbers known the easier it will

Looking for a Savage receiver # 9C9688 and Longbranch 2L8975. I have both bolts. Looking for Longbranch bolt # 20L4147. Long shot but you never know.

Not through this thread, but I have managed to match up a Loewe Boer Mauser rifle with its bolt, and a HMS Canada Mk. III Ross with its bayonet. The Ross bayonet was through a CGN member.
Needle in a haystack perhaps, but it does happen, and there is no harm trying.

they are from a Danish model 52 target rifle. Schultz and Larson made these from German WWII k98s. I have some striped ones here some were.
