Hi !
Show a newbie what the most beautiful 22 cal rifle ever made look like !
I am pretty sure that everyone agree on one and only one rifle !!
Thanks

I like my 10/22.....just like some people loved the original Volkswagen beetel....beauty can be value / function as well as looks.

An Anschutz in fancy wood or something like a high end custom cooper in fancy wood will most likely be what most will choose...the CZ is pretty slick as well

For me the 1972 beetle was beautiful and so is my 10/22 ...basically for the same reasons

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.!! I personally have a weakness for a nicely figured wood stock but the rifle has to be accurate as well as pretty otherwise it is is just `eye candy`with no practical purpose.

It's in the eye of the beholder, but I think form follows function, and this one looks pretty good to me.

I would have to pick the Cooper as my first choice. Honourable mention goes to the Winchester Model 52 Sporter and the Steyr Zephyr.

I'm pretty sure NO ONE WILL AGREE on one and only one rifle -

This is the internet after all ---

I agree somewhat with cONTRACT except,it's not a rolling block, but a Martini. My other choices would be some of the beautiful gallery .22s turned out by Stevens (Walnut Hill), Ballard(of course), Winchester 1885s.....

:agree: Shooting and guns are so much more than the hardware itself, it's about experiences as far as I'm concerned. They're more like companions...but who doesn't like a nice-looking one of those. ;)

As far as I'm concerned, CZs have the nicest aesthetics for the money. Their lack of unnecessary frills and clean lines really speak to me. The satin-black, robust receiver mated with the beautifully finished barrels..I don't know, pretty sweet. The idea of owning a Cooper like the one pictured certainly makes the mind wonder... but it's far enough out of my $-realm to imagine ever clamping a bipod to it, rambling through freshly cut hay fields, laying in the dirt...lining-up groundhogs...I'd be paranoid about every scratch, any drop of rain, etc.
