I went out to sight in and Chrony my 17FB (4435fps) and took my Sako Quad too as I had the scope off it and wanted to sight it in again. I forgot just how much fun a .22 is to shoot. Everyone need one or two or even more. I think it's probably the most fun you can have with your pants still on.

I have to agree with you. The centerfires are fun & loud but when it comes to pure relaxation, the little rimfire is a tough act to top.

I love taking out and firing all the different .22s I have. A few are the go to gopher guns but do enjoy the target shooting too. Cheap ammo even at today's cost. Staple puncher or metal target spinner, each comes into their own. I am in my 60s and these old guns remind me so much of my youth in the search for the elusive critters. Relaxation and comradery are the most important to me when I visit the range at any time possible.

I don't know, I've had alot of fun with my pants on, but the zipper was open, mmm head.

But, um yeah, centerfires are awesome, but you can spend a whole day at the range shooting metal plates with a 10/22 and it dosen't get old.
