Kind of surprized these guys say the mainspring is a leaf spring. One expected coil springs in a DA revolver of brand new manufacture.

They tend to grow on you for sure. Myself I have these two and an eight inch DW. Nice to see they have the high visibility front blade. Exactly as such the 629 and Anaconda of the past.

Closest thing to that I heard a rumour the oldest Colt Cobra (Anaconda in 357) some and damn few ones, were actually blued finish. Literally very rare. But I never seen one myself.....so could be pure malarkey.

Agreed. They even look better with exotic tropical wooden grips. Cocabola too pedestrian.

Great on CZ/Colt for reintroducing the ANACONDA. I’m just wondering why CZ/Colt let these two schlubs make the intro. You’d think CZ/Colt would get Jerry Micheluk or one of their hired Spokeman to debut this new edition. Then I see a little later on in the video the bandanna guy firing it & breaking his grip & cocking the hammer with his grip hand every time he uses it in SA mode. A very bad habit.

Nice. Wasn't tempted by the Python, but I am by this. Haven't looked in detail but looks like it is essentially a scaled up new Python? I've been wanting an Anaconda to go with the SW629s and DW744, but was not interested in paying 3-4K for the used ones.

Wow! These might actually be better than the originals since they're built with the new Python action as opposed to the Original Anacondas lock work lineage coming from the Trooper MK.III and IV. The new Python actions kind of borrow what was simpler and good from the Trooper MK.III/IV but added the Python leaf spring. The leaf spring and the feel it brings is a nice upgrade in my opinion.

I don't need another Anaconda but....
