I was going to post this months ago for stevo I believe, but I bought a house and got real busy doing other things. After that settled down I just got plain lazy and didn't get around to it, but now someone was asking about it in another thread.

I'm posting these because I had a terrible time finding out how the mount exactly worked, how it attached to the upper handguard etc, so hopefully this will answer some people's questions.

The OKO red dot sight with steel cover and upper handguard mount

This is the red dot on its brightest setting, I believe there are 11 different settings.

This is an upclose of the steel shield/cover

This is the "magical" cover that you can order for the sight, lol all it is is 3 drilled holes through the bottom of the handguard. The 3 screws attach directly to the sight/shield setup, thats it. The wood part on the handguard has been shaved off flat so that the sight sits level with the wood. This was a mistake to buy as it cost 70$ and I could have done it myself. There were NO pictures on OKO's website and even Josko at double tap didn't know what it looked like, I just asked him what was available to order for the VZ and bought it all.

Finally here is the reciept with the prices in case anyone is interested.

I think the best accessory to purchase is the steel cover, it's very rigid and will defenitly protect the sight from impact if the rifle is dropped.

I think the only thing that I need now for this rifle is a good sling, if someone wants to recommend me one that is nice and holds a good position on the front of my chest, please send a link or provide some info :D

Finally, if anyone wants a different picture, let me know and I will edit the thread for more info.
If anyone is looking to buy Josko was really good about the whole deal and provided awesome customer service when I did buy it. I called him with no information and asked him to find everything out for me, and he did. At the time I believe (I may be mistaken) that they did not carry the sights in stock anymore, but they could order it in which I did. The delivery was a while, probably a month in total from Czech.

I don't know yet, I have yet to really shoot the damn thing because I can't use steel jacketed at my range.
The cover is held on pretty tight, but how well it holds zero is another question when removed and put back on. I need to find some regular FMJ 7.62X39
