I picked her up from Reliable yesterday.

I'm going to be polishing up the feed ramp and chamber when I get to work tomorrow. Lovely little thing and to my surprise it came with tritium night sights, still bright. Can't wait to bring it to the range. It has some strange issues with the mags (any manipulation of the slide means that the magazine will not drop free, any of you guys have similar issues?) but aside from that it is absolutely awesome.
 
Nope, but the finish there is coming off and I have a habit of tinkering (aka, I did a near detail strip of the gun when I brought it back home and brought out the Hoppe's 9).

I wouldn't do any polishing if I were you. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
 
Well, there is that problem about the magazines not dropping free. It's strange, I can release them when I first insert one or when it is empty, but not when I've brought one from the magazine into the chamber..

This is a common problem with .45 cal P220s. You need to get new-style mags, distinguished from the older version by a small detent next to witness hole #2. You may find the following discussion over at sigfroum helpful:

This mag not dropping free thing bothers me - I have a P220-1 that has NEVER had a problem spitting out mags, old new, empty, or full.

I'm sure the folks at Reliable would be happy to look it over for you, as you bought it there, and their service IS top drawer.
