That is an expensive rifle. But man, you should see some of my polymer stuff that gets used in the bush. My Magpul 870 furniture especially, scatched and dinged all to hell crashing off rocks in the mountains, banged around the back of an Argo, floating around the bottom of a canoe, and it don't give a fk. It will hold up just fine. Polymer doesn't dent, chip, crack, or swell like wood. It's lighter and doesn't corrode like metal. Plastic is purely fantastic. Not all polymers are created equal however.
