It's great to go to a range where people are friendly and chatty.

However, I'm discovering that there's a huge drawback.

Frequently, when I trade firearms with someone else for a few shots, I develop a need for a firearm that I did not previously know I needed.

It's worse than the EE on this board. I'm seriously contemplating implementing a policy of, "If you want to take a few rounds on mine, that's fine, but I'm not touching yours".

My missus already lives in ignorance of the existence of some of my firearms. There will come a point where I will no longer be able to hide my growing arsenal. This could be problematic.

It's true, there definitely is a contagion risk when handling others' guns... ;)

I think the best way to go about it is to give in fully, and accept who you are. Be at peace with yourself - love yourself... because there will be enough hatred coming your way from the bank and credit card companies... :p

I just saw today a stunning Martini-Henery Parkerhale .22cal conversion, I cried when he said he just paid $250 for it, complete with target sight. Now I must have one.
