I have one and it is great. Not a fan of the markings on the upper, the new furniture or the new higher price.

I was aware that I do have to buy the DD iron sights separately. Not a big issue for me. All optics/sights cost something and the ones that don't aren't usually too great.

Can someone give a breakdown of what all the different letters and numbers in their models mean? I get confused and angry whenever I look at shopping for a DD
 
3, 5 and 9 are rail lengths for the picatinny models. 7 is MLOK and 11 is KEYMOD. Then you have a few other variations to consider like lightweight vs. regular in terms of some marginal weight savings, but 80% of the difference is in what I just noted. Almost all the models have the same upper and lower receivers and surrounding furniture.
