The Remington Rangemaster 204 Ruger Repeater

A bunch of my Remington parts were assembled a couple weeks ago by Henry Rempel.
A small bolt face 700 SA BDL action
A 26" take off varmint barrel in 204 Ruger
A Rangemaster stock, refinished and inlet for a BDL magazine and floorplate
A Rempel 3 lever Remington trigger set at 1.5#
Shot some H4895 loads with the 40 Vmax. A couple different seating depths didn't seem to matter much. 5 shot groups at 100 yards. 3800 fps.
Didn't like the 32gr Vmax for whatever reason.
A pig at 11lbs but looks to be a good shooter.

I love rifles like that, its like a bunch of misfit parts that are put together and they finally find a home and they work like magic. Nice rifle!

Awesome combo. Bet the crosshairs stay in place for great viewing after the bang. Heavy is only a drawback when hauling them around.
