You Get a great deal and a good Quality Sleep kit!
Assembling Canadian Army Surplus lots into packages to sell can be very difficult. There never seems to be enough items, or the right amount of similar condition pieces to match together to evenly. For Canadian Army sleeping kits, there is always too few sleeping bag liners, and most are to damaged to use. The stuff sacks are generally in very rough condition and most have holes or are missing parts. Of course there is a bivy bag that people want, but are extremely rare to find.
Buying surplus from the USA allows us to purchase quantities of the same item and they normally come in much better condition than up here (a trillion dollar budget allows them to discard stuff way to easily). We have recently been able to get some compression bags and bivy bags in decent condition.
