Hello, This is my 1st post in Precision Rifles and I have 3 questions.

I want to buy an browning a-bolt action/w boss in .223rem and I don't know what's a fair price for them in Canada. An estimate of the price would be nice.

Also, I would like to know what after market parts is there for the A-Bolt action, cause I want an alloy firing pin and music wire spring and such....

Lastly, I need some help on the rings, I'm thinking of just good old leoupy rings. Although, I don't know what to get, any recommendations are welcome!

Please, any help would be great! Thank you for reading and answering this.

I don't know why you would require a BOSS for a 223 (non existant recoil) and honestly I don't know of any aftermarket parts for an A-Bolt. What kind of Leupold Rings are you referring to. A bit more detail on how you are going to use your rifle would be beneficial in determining the type of rings.

I suppose you could use the Boss to tune the rifle for selected loads. Leupold rings and a base could certainly be fitted, if you wanted. Not much in the way of aftermarket parts for an A-Bolt. Get a Brownells catalogue, or check their website w ww.brownells.com to get a general idea of what is available for different makes and models.

I like burris signature zee ring with the inserts. If you get into long range the insert will give you at least 20 MOA.

Thanks for all the replies, I want this rifle to be a target and coyote rifle. So accuracy is very important for me.

Tiriraq, thanks for the idea to go to brownells.

EC, I wanted the boss version of the a bolt because of the better bedding to my knowledge. Also, I have no idea what type of rings and base should I get cause there are so many choices out there.

Gaetourne, I will check out those Burris rings and inserts. They seems like a good idea for me to have them on my rifle.
