I'm seeing new items at fabsport.ca, including a sadlak alluminum scope mount, does anyone have feedback about it? how does it do against the arms #18?
obviously i'd accept your feedback fabrice but your opinion is biased

I have decided to order this unit anyhow, turns out it looks a very decent mount, it came with purple loctite and extensive instructions, it even includes a hand written quality control sheet and 2 measuring pins used to correctly measure the specs of the mount. I will be installing it ina few weeks, I really have low to no time for gunsmithing these times
My only concern would be the weight, it is pretty light
The Sadlak mount looks just like the Smith #2024 (older model)
Should be a solid mount. Take your time and diy.
Be careful with the troque on the hex bolt. Easy to strip
If you don't have a inch-lb troque wrench. (65-70 in-lbs)
You can use a ft-lb troque wrench....but set to 5 to 6 ft-lbs only.
As for the weight of the mount. I would not worry.
Good three point contact.
Holding great!
As sadlak's website says: it's the best on the market
Only problem would be it's aluminum, maybe not as solid as steel, but as Mike Sadlak mentioned when I talked to him: the only concern would be thermal expension, other than that, it's aircraft grade alluminum, so If installed properly they are the best.
I'm not sure but I don't think that aluminum is the best material for making a mount for the M1A. Looking at the web link it look's like an EXACT copy of a Smith mount. I may be wrong though. Looks like they want $150 us for it, for an extra $50 you might as well just get the Smith of an ARMS. Just my .02 cents
They have a titanium mount as well, not that I've had much oportunity to use mine, but from the 20 rounds or so it appeared to hold the zero with my scope over the last year.
