Well I said it in a previous thread that if the SCAR came to Canada I'd buy one.

Having handled one first hand a SHOT, I"m excited!!!
So I'm interested to know what the "pre-order" base is like?
I'm thinking that we are at least 25 units pre sold?
Oh yea how many folks want the 10.5" CQC barrel?

I love the LV sling, best sling out there for that style!
Man i will eventually pick this rifle up for sure!
10.5 inch would be nice, but i think i would stick to 16 inch in 223 but for 762/308 definitely a shorter barrel would be awesome too!

I hope this opens the door for things to come. I kind of like the 16LB (long Barrel) but cant really justify it dispite the 18" barrel...

I'll order one if the 17lb comes thru with a factory 18" barrel.

Hunting deer with the Tavor is frowned upon cause of the whole .223 issue; coyote's, ground hogs sure, but deer? Not really But I can justify the Scar 17LB to my wife because its a .308!!!

I would definitely be in for one of those in non-restricted 7.62mm. Restricted in 5.56mm not so much.

Yeah, but fugly is just: "functional + ugly". If you're concerned about how pretty your gun is, maybe you're going to the range for the wrong reasons.

All the scars except the 10" look really odd with the long barrel sticking out.

i COULD drive a chevette too, save me alot of gas money, BUT i dont =) and alot of people dont, because.... they are fugly =D

Forgive my ignorance but what is an LV sling? It looks great and I'm in the market for one just like it. I want to review all options but can't find anything when Googling for "LV sling"...
