The Shape of Factory Chokes

I am looking at a factory set of Benelli chokes.

When I look at the end without the thread:
IC and F are round, but M is slightly egg shaped....

Is this a quality control error?

It should be round.

Do not use it, if it is brand new return it for replacement. If not, see if a local gunsmith can return it to round or scrap it and buy a new one.
If used the wad can snag onto the edge of the tube and the luckiest thing to happen will be to blow the tube out. Worst case, shredded barrel and injury from the shrapnel.

I spent the morning looking for ninja rabbits with the IC choke.
This afternoon, I'm taking that M choke to the dealer.
