The high angle shooting looks like a lot of fun. Interesting how they shot pistol rounds out at such high elevation. In Canada only the military can do things like that as the entire 3km of land behind the targets will need to be closed off.
Pretty much most of the event would never be approved if it was back here in Canada and you're right as it would be only Military doing such things. The pistol shots are safe in that range as there's nothing for like 10km+ and the forest behind the targets is actually a long distance range with steel targets (not in view).
