I am really inrerested in the Mossberg Mvp..
Does anybody have one, or know much about them???

From all the reviews they seem like a pretty good little rifle??

Not to mention at that price range.
-they take common ar mags including 10rnd lar mags
-heavy flutted barrel
-free floated
-adjustable trigger
-laminate
-wide fore end for sandbagging
-factory sling swivells

Although not known for their rifles so much as the venerable 500 series, it seems like a nice lil package???
Any info would be great..!!!
Thanks a bunch

I have seen quite a few youtube vids about them.
Personally I think the asking price is a bit much for them.

Time will tell how they perform in the field.
Also it will be interesting to see if Canadian dealers can actually offer all the accessories or not.

I have the opportunity to buy one at 530 $ which is lower taxes in than most people are selling them for..
This is why I ask 530 is good for a nice bolt action heavy barrel...but is this a nice bolt action is the real question ?? :p

According to that, if I'm reading it right ** you can only use 5 rounds if you're using AR mags. Lar mags might be different. Seems like a good deal but you might want to consider that before you buy.

10 round LAR pistol magazines will fit and be perfectly legal. Not too sure but 5 round 50 Beowolf mags might fit as well, then you could be up to 14 or 15 depending how tight the pin is. Again, perfectly legal. RCMP determined that mags are restricted depending on what they were DESIGNED for, NOT what they might potentially fit into. You can even stick them in your AR, SU16 or Tavor.

OP, there was another thread on these started in the last couple days. Someone is about to do a review, and a couple others have shot it and claim it shoots MOA. Try searching for Mossberg MVP, I'm sure it'll come up.

I just picked one up on sale at Canadian Tire yesterday for $649.00 I can't wait to go sight it in.

I got the Predator model a week or so ago, I really like it. It's shooting slightly over MOA with bulk Federal 55gr. It has a nice crisp trigger and accepted all my LAR mags. I'll be testing some other loads and I'm sure this is going to be a definite keeper.

If the mag was not built for a rifle but happens to fit in a rifle #3 is not a valid argument.

you could put 50 Beowulf mags in it and hold even more but I would rather see a nice short light carbine in 50 Beowulf for hunting rather than the current offering.

Good to hear !! Getting more and more interested in this little gun!

I mail ordered a Predator model from one of the site sponsors. When I got it home and unpacked I started handling it, wrapped it back up and traded it away unfired. Once you get use to the feel and handling of better quality firearms the budget rifles just don`t cut it.
