Hey gang,
Well, until this month, I really had nothing much of interest for the milsurp crowd....well, maybe a bit, but I picked up a couple of things in the past few weeks that I think look rather sharp.
One arrived in the mail for me today.
And here's a pic of the two of them together:
So, we have a 1942 Longbranch Sten Mk II Dewat, and a 1/4 scale Browning M-2.
I've spent the evening de-greasing the M-2, as it comes packed pretty full, and as I did so, I did some disassembly.
I discovered a large volume of empty space internally, which has (go figure) set me to wondering about uses for it....I'm awefully interested in seeing if I have any .22 LR actions that might fit inside....
Anyhow, there's some neat stuff to look at, and for reference sake, the bullet on the right is a 5.56 round. Even at 1/4 scale, the .50 rounds are larger than .223!!!!
