I've used a Porta-boat before!
Had a 5.5 horse, two guys , downriggers, And a portable depth sounder on it!

A flat bottom boat generally rides better broadside to the waves than does running head on into them (my experience anyway). Quartering into the waves rides a lot bettter than head on. BTW I thought I had the smallest boat on CGN but Grouseman has me beat by about half.

THIS is the ultimate hunting boat. You could mount the .50 cal on it and take direct hits from others if need be. It even looks like a water borne tank.
