Fiber front sight as per hercster's advice. Chain link on front strap and main spring housing. Extractor upgrade.

I have the G10 grips on my sig scorpion, they are great.

WOW today is our second biggest day !! Thanks for sharing the fun with us. We will now be waiting for pictures and a test drive. At those prices they do throw in airfare to the Canadian range of your choice right?

At those prices they still add tax and shipping! Thread will be updated in 9-11 months, maybe sooner, maybe longer......
 
My Order is now officially placed with NHC via Gary at Wanstalls

Big thanks to Gary (Wanstalls) and NHC, they had to have Chris Costa personally approve my chosen upgrades for "his" gun before they would accept the order.

Final details:

Costa edition 1911 (Recon model, full size with rail)
Extractor upgrade
Chain link on front strap and back of main spring
Front cocking serrations deleted
Red fibre front sight
Stick on beard with Grecian Formula deleted.

So...........to tide me over.........I may need an instant gratification treat. Just heard my Ruger SR1911 is soon going to be in my hot little hands.

I have an open wall in my gun room that is reserved for Nighthawks. It will remain empty until this one arrives........unless I find one somewhere for a deal that is too good to pass up....hint, hint, Gary........you have two or three in stock still!

Good news on the NHC and the SR1911! No need for the stick-on beard...with the 9-11 month wait you have time to grow your own!

Wow! Just love this gun. I love bobtailed commander guns, and the color contrast is just awesome. I am sure it shoots as good as it looks.
