The wait for my PAL begins.

Finished my safety course on November 6
Mailed completed PAL form to RCMP on November 9
Waiting for test result stamp from CFO

Hopefully it doesn't take as long as some of the horror stories I've read, I'd like to have it for Christmas so I can buy myself a nice present.

I took my course over the Halloween weekend and am still waiting for my official stamped results to get back. Don't expect this process to go fast because then you have to send it all to New Brunswick with your results

Hopefully, I have sped up the whole process by sending in my completed paperwork to New Brunswick before receiving my stamped test results. At least that's what other people had said to do. This way you start your 28 day waiting period earlier

Did my PAL in early Feb, got my license in late April, so not to bad timewise.

Gonnal do my RPAL upgrade this week. Not sure if it takes the same amount of time but it is what it is.....

I had my stamped results back in 3 weeks, not the usual 4. The guide suggests to send in your application before you get the course results back, thus 'starting the clock' sooner. But don't send it in before you do your course... you need to know you passed first

In that guide that was posted on how to speed up PAL approval times, I believe it mentioned calling them and just asking if they had received all of your paperwork. I think most people who did this saw there application appear in the system that same day or the next.

I did my PAL in late October, i got my paper back in about 2 weeks. Currently doing my RPAL now, hopefully whenever they send it away, the turnaround is equally as quick.
