I thought I'd share some pic's of a recent pick up I made.
Purchasing a number of guns off a gentleman who's father left his mother with a handful of unwanted gun after his passing.
The usual bunch of long arms mostly from the 50's but there was this one gem...
A Winchester Repeating Arms 1904 Marked 04 - 22 SHORT - LONG - EXTRA LONG patented 1899
It's very small, originally I'm told it was marketed as a "Boy's Rifle"
Wood is in wonderful condition, redone with linseed oil like most of the rifles in the collection, the flash makes the bluing look FAR worse than it actually is.
This forum's search function didn't come up with anything, so does anyone else here have one of these? Are they fairly common in Canada?
Any idea it's proper age / value?
Hope you enjoyed the pics!
