Anyone else watching these shows? Anyone else think that they should fire whoever was in charge of props?

First episode they show German and Japanese soldiers using Enfields and British soldiers using the '03 Springfield.

YES!!!! I noticed that too, I had to rewind to make sure that I wasn't seeing things. With all the hype in promoting the series, you figure that it would be an accurate reproduction of the events. EPIC FAIL, not going to waste my time watching this crap. Hogan's Heroes was more representative....

I watched a bit today and the accuracy of the equipment is horrendous. I was watching a WW1 episode and it shows a soldier falling and a rifle flying through the air and hitting the ground. The rifle? A cupped buttplate K98k.f:P:

Saw lots of Germans shooting smle's and all sorts of other inaccurate portrayals.

I didn't learn anything new from the show either. Pretty basic information for the most part.

The tank that Patton was riding on top of look like a Stuart, and there was a Jeep and a Sherman in inter-war years segment.

Yeah, at least Shultz had a mauser, he kept asking the POW'S to hold his rifle while he ate strudel.
