Just backoff of the 308 and will go for very good accuracy dept in 223, i was not full equiped, but this just changed as i bought a KAC SR15 A3 Mod 2...
Since our range is only 200 yards, i will try to tame the 223 AR to make small groups, my MK 18 is not target accurate and my CQ-a just sold this afternoon, if the Elcan Specter 1X3X9 finally get here, i think it will make a sweet rig... Very happy i took the plunge... JP.

My man Dan at Wanstall, told me Octobre at best, gonna waiting it out, will fit a replacement for the mean time... JP

From what I have read that is a 20k round barrel. Plenty accurate, but not "the most" accurate. Looking forward to a 100 shot 200 yd group there Caramel.

you know jp, after my disaster with my christiensan arms i decided to buy a colt. I was considering a kac sr15 18 inch, but i just couldn't risk another 3500 bucks on a bad purchase. so i went with a colt le6920, got some extras to solve the colt issues that were bothering me, I got la spikes m16 bolt, a spikes compensator, a timney trigger, a noveske nsr 11 inch rail, bcm charging handle, all for under 2k.
if im not happy with the accuracy i'll try to get a quality barrel from brownels maybe...

Your missap had some weight in my decision ( scratched the Christensen from list), i decided to go with a proven rifle with a proven warranty and the price at 2625.00 all in was in my budget, i did look at the Colt, and it look like a great rifle, i just knew i would have to own a KAC sometimes and when my Elcan Specter 1X3X9 get here in the fall i will reunite them.... JP.

J.P. have you checked the Les Baers? Same precision (better) and quality as your Premier II..........
P.S. Do you like Beavers?

So then will you be saving the Elcan Spectre OZ 5x-20x for the .308(s) in your collection? as that's the one that really grabs my attention for a .308 (or .223) DMR that could do it all; although it does cost a substantial penalty in the form of weight over the 3x-6x-9x. Regardless your new Kac should perform very well indeed with the Elcan Spectre 3x-6x-9x set-up.

Cannot go wrong with any SR-15! I've gone through about 1000 rounds now with my Mod-1 carbine and haven't had a single hiccup.

I found that PMC X-TAC 556 shoots around 1.5 MOA at range and hand loads will stay under MOA all day!

This thing has changed my view on black rifles. Too much fun

Maybe your DD will go the way your Glocks went after you got your Les Baer?

If i ever quit on the DD, it will join my Glocks in the safe, some of my grandkids are starting to go for their RPAL, and they will need tools to go to range... Grampa will supplied, not because i cant master them that the new generation cant learn easier... JP.

Congrats.

A JP Enterprises rifle would be a fantastic choice for a precision AR, be it in .223 or .308. I'm sure you'll be buying one soon 'nough!

I will wait for the GAP-10 then, i should be quiet for a while... JP.
