Here is a shout out to the supporting dealers who have sold me some fantastic firearms in recent months at great prices.
I am not normally one to complain about much, but prior to buying these rifles i poked through the EE to look for used options. Good God! Some of these people either have overpaid when they bought, or are really trying to capitalize on suckers! I looked through countless ads, and every one of them was basically charging full retail new, or more! their pitch is that you dont have to pay tax -- yipee! But you will get a used firearm with a few marks or safe kisses ("normal for a used gun" yeah right!) and "not many rounds down the pipe". And when someone says i have $###XX into it , they are always WAYYYYYY off what the going price is on these items.
A few months back i came across a rifle that was used with a few marks (the typical). The gun new from my local dealer was 1100, and this fellow wanted 1370$ ("its rare and i that's what i paid for it"). I politely offered him 950 and he went on the most sarcastic tear about being insulted at my "lowball" price.
So i bought the new one at the dealer.
The used one eventually disappeared. Its now either in the hands of a sucker, or an a##h#le, or both....
