The guy at Wolverine when I bought my 858-2, recommended that when I get around to taking it off, just saw the wood stock in half, and give it hell. Apparently they are torqued on while the stock is still wet, which means the expand and contract and that bolt is tighter than they could ever just put it on normally. The folding is probably just a little less tight, for that reason. Perhaps, take your panties off, and wrap them around the driver to make the grip easier on your hands
I used a cordless Impact gun. Put on the proper bit and Boom! Done in 5 seconds.
I didn't even really hold onto the rifle that tight either, the Impact Gun does the work.
Same for the pistol grip screw.
Go to canadian tire buy the chisel with the hex shaft grind the chisel end flat. You can put a wrench/socket on the end chisel. Leverage my friend leverage. The tip can be ground to a perfect fit for the slot. Works great.
